Maisonpierre Garden
Boulder, Colorado
This garden is for good friends who are professional musicians. They wanted a landscape that would serve as an amphitheater for performances, as well as provide for normal outdoor living and gardening. The stone work reminds them of the desert canyons that they love.

The street frontage features a sunken inhabitable rain garden, surrounded by fruit trees, lilacs, and an arcing seasonal flower display of hardy perennials. The rear garden is a refuge of terraced to provide.
